Areola pigmentation represents the completion of the breast reconstruction process. It’s an honor to be a part of this healing and I sincerely thank you for considering me as a candidate to help restore your sense of femininity after surviving breast cancer.
If you have had a bilateral mastectomy with a nipple reconstruction, together we can formulate an areola color that matches your pre operative photographs; or if you prefer we can formulate a pigment that is completely new. If you have had a nipple reconstruction with a unilateral mastectomy, we can simply match the pigment to the contralateral nipple.
You may have opted to not undergo the areola reconstruction process at all. In this case, I can help you achieve a natural look with my three dimensional tattoos. This gives us the freedom to completely customize your look by creating the size, shape, position, and color of your choice.
Scar camouflaging is an additional procedure many breast cancer survivors are grateful for. This is an amazing procedure that I love as it adds significant beauty to the breasts and aids in restoring confidence.
Many women find this journey completely exhausting both physically and mentally. However, I encourage you to complete this final stage in your reconstruction process as studies have shown that recreation of the areola pigment has a high correlation with overall patient satisfaction and acceptance of body image.
